Sencha Green

Sencha Green was born into a home brimming with music. The son of a Puerto Rican jazz pianist, Green grew up in a New Jersey home filled with records, giving the budding M.C. ample resources to draw from when he started rapping and making beats at a young age. As he developed, Green learned to seamlessly weave his rhymes together in both English and Spanish, while simultaneously honing his own unique style of hip-hop production. His music would go on to draw creatively from mainstream hip-hop, especially trap and east-coast rap (think Jay-Z or Kanye), but it would also pull from sources outside the normal, generic palette of contemporary music – mambo, EDM, and even classical music.
