Music Royalties Coordinator - Los Angeles, CA (Burbank)

The Royalties Coordinator’s responsibilities will include:

- Processing various forms of income for the Royalty Department

- Sourcing income statements from a variety of clients and partners such as record labels, subpublishers, HFA, ASCAP, BMI, etc.

- Income matching

- Cue Sheet data entry

- Assist the Director of Royalties

- Assist in music catalog and copyright data management

- Other administrative duties as assigned

 

The ideal candidate will:

- Have experience in data management and various administrative tasks

- Have strict attention to detail

- Have an aptitude for consistency

- Be extremely organized and perform tasks efficiently


- Be computer savvy (MAC)

- Love geeking out over Excel

- Be a team-player, friendly, communicative and eager to help

- Be trustworthy, loyal, respectful and discreet with regards to knowing confidential information about the company

- Be excited to work at a super cool and growing indie music company.

Creative Synch Pitching (Ads/Films/TV) - Los Angeles, CA (Burbank)

The Creative Synch Pitching responsibilities will include:

- Promoting Position Music’s catalog for use in advertising (commercials and branded content) and Film/TV.

- Proactive selling into ad agencies, brands, production companies, and marketing firms with both existing relationships and developing new relationships.

- Responding to daily incoming music briefs and curating music playlists for clients.

- Seeking opportunities for Position Artists and Brand partnerships. The ideal candidate will:

- Have at least 5 years experience in a similar role at a music publisher, record label or ad agency.

- Be passionate about the creative process with regards to music in brands.

- Have established relationships with ad agencies, brands, production houses, music supervisors and other creatives.

- Have a strong background in sales with proven success.

- Also have some relationships with music supervisors in the TV/Film community.

- Be willing to travel.

- Be a team-player, friendly, highly communicative and outgoing.

Internships

Position Music Intern - Los Angeles, CA (Burbank)

The Position Music Interns Responsibilities include:

- Internet/Client research

- Music submission review

- Publishing administration

- Music metadata organization

- Social media management

- Video/image editing and creation

- Misc. office tasks

 

Intern must be enrolled in an accredited college program. Typical time commitment is 20 hours/week. Must have their own transportation.
