Lil Kiwi

Drawing on Chicago’s long history of house music and hip-hop, Second City native Lil Kiwi has beats running through her DNA. On her latest project, they turn up as party girl anthem, “Are You Ready,” self-love throwdown “Watch Me Move” and the rapid-fire hyper pop of “My World,” each track rich with bright, colorful imagery and positive vibes. In Lil Kiwi’s world, everything pops in technicolor, from her kaleidoscopic pop visions to the images that conjure when listening to the music. “I hope people see bubblegum pink motorcycles and cotton candy clouds,” says the singer of her latest works, adding of her inspiration, “My muse is always on the run.
