Evening Thieves

Hailing from Asbury Park, New Jersey, Evening Thieves has been playing music since he was only five years old. As a young child he self taught himself guitar, bass, drums, and cello while his parents spun everything from The Who to Led Zeppelin to Mozart and the Police on the family’s shared turntable. Listen to Evening Thieves and you’ll catch brief shimmers of a Robert Plant and Pete Townshed-esque rock-and-roll ethos sprinkled with a pinch of modern electronic pop-punk elements, which forges into Thieves' lively debut album Eye of the Storm. “Music became my calling when I wrote my first song and performed it on stage,” he says. “Something about the energy of performing gave me an energy rush like I’d never had before.” With melting guitar performances at the core of each track, Evening Thieves took his penchant for club stages and mixed in his passion for film scores as he recorded Eye of the Storm in his home studio well in the wee hours of the night.
