Gary Toth

Gary Toth’s passion for music started when he was coming of age as the 90’s grunge movement was beginning to take hold. At age 13, he quickly found a love of the electric guitar and would only put it down when he had to go to school or go to sleep. Meals would have been skipped if it weren’t for his parents’ persistence on getting him out of his room to come to dinner. High school was spent diving deeper into metal and progressive, then studying guitar virtuosos like Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, John Petrucci, and Steve Morse. Finding himself performing and recording with an industrial band, Gary started to become intrigued by the possibilities of producing pro quality music in a simple home studio. That intrigue led Gary to pursue and complete a B.A. in Music Technology from Ball State University. Gary’s time at Ball State brought on a paradigm shift in his musical journey.
