POLYPHIA

Artist

Rock

Polyphia is an instrumental progressive rock quartet from Plano, Texas, formed in 2010. The band features guitarists Tim Henson and Scott LePage, bassist Clay Gober, and drummer Clay Aeschliman. Known for blending virtuosic guitar work with elements of hip-hop, trap rhythms, electronic music, and progressive metal, Polyphia has pushed genre boundaries while maintaining strong compositional focus.

Over the years, Polyphia has released four full-length albums (Muse in 2014, Renaissance in 2016, New Levels New Devils in 2018, and Remember That You Will Die in 2022), along with EPs and singles. Their 2022 album features high-profile collaborations (such as Steve Vai, Chino Moreno, $not, Sophia Black) and showcases their evolution toward more diverse sonic textures and production styles. Their growth has been marked by growing streaming numbers, sold-out tours, and acclaim for their ability to innovate while maintaining technical skill.
