Like a good coming-of-age film, there’s angst, desperation, and self-doubt. In “Leave My Mind” RUSIKA wrestles with the constant fatigue of her own disorientating and tiresome thoughts. She dreams about the ability to simply detach her mind and leave it behind. During this back-and-forth process of self-discovery, she finds strength to breakthrough and find inner-peace on her own. \r\n\r\nShe thrives in the emotional seam between facing challenging thoughts head-on and the celebration when they relent. Her music illustrates that every moment of vulnerability is also a moment for triumph and understanding that should be celebrated. \r\n\r\n“Music can respond to your feelings.
