Welshly Arms is a Cleveland-based rock band known for their fusion of blues, soul, gospel, and alternative rock. Formed in 2013, the band consists of Sam Getz (lead vocals, guitar), Jimmy Weaver (bass, vocals), Mike Gould (drums), Bri Bryant (vocals), and Jon Bryant (vocals). They write, produce, and record all of their material in Cleveland, drawing inspiration from artists like Jimi Hendrix, The Temptations, Otis Redding, and Howlin’ Wolf.

 

Their 2017 single “Legendary” gained significant attention, being featured in various media outlets and events, including the WWE’s 2017 TLC pay-per-view, the national TV and radio campaign for the Cleveland Indians, and the Netflix show Sense8. The band’s music has also been featured in trailers for films such as The D Train and The Hateful Eight. Their debut full-length album, No Place Is Home, was released in 2018, followed by Wasted Words & Bad Decisions in 2023, showcasing their evolution and continued impact in the rock music scene.
